St. Nicholas Episcopal Church, Newark, Delaware, is a vibrant church with an intimate, reverent style of worship. The Eucharist (Holy Communion) is celebrated Sundays at 10:00 a.m. You will find that the congregation is warm, inviting, and inclusive.

Our Christian Education programs provide a foundation for growing in faith. Children are an important part in our life and worship; Children’s Sunday School is held during the service on the 1st, 3rd and 4th Sundays each month.  Outreach (one of our top priorities) is aimed at the poor, the hungry, and those in need. Our Food Pantry has been in operation for over 25 years. Members take an active role in leading worship. Fellowship (having fun together) is important to our congregation.

We also think it is very important to recognize and share our ups and downs in life. We do this each Sunday when all are invited to share their concerns and celebrations. We call ourselves “The church with the big heart.”

The St. Nicholas Episcopal Church newsletter, The Anchor, is published weekly.
